Proposed 2008 Tee Ball Rules

 

 

1-     The game will be 3 innings or a maximum of 1 hour 15mins.  Players should be ready to warm up at the very least, 15 mins before game time. 

 

2-     All players will take the field each inning

 

3-     Defensive positions will be changed each inning.  Each player must play at least 1 inning in the infield. 

 

4-     Outfield players must be on the outfield grass and not the infield dirt. 

 

5-     A player shall be removed from base when an out is made at the base.

 

6-     Batted balls will be limited to a single if the ball lands in the infield or a double if the ball lands in the outfield grass on a fly or reaches the outfield fence.

 

7-     The offensive team will send each batter to the plate each inning.  Outs and runs will not be counted.  Team manager/coach has the option to reverse the order each inning, in fact this encouraged by the league.

 

8-     All balls must be hit from the tee.  There will be absolutely no pitching to players allowed.

 

9-     When an infielder is playing at the pitchers position they must wear a batting helmet.
